Well-kept and fairly clean accommodation with absolutely perfect location close enough to great theme park, Bamboo restaurant and the train station. Nice views over the Phantasialand park from recently refurbished and themed rooms. Central heating, a safe, and multi-channel television in the bedroom. Nice pool, parking on site. The family feel of the hotel. Simply nothing too much trouble, relaxing stay.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. Long John Silver's was easily accessible, just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, where we enjoyed lunch and dinner.

I have stayed at many hotels around the world (in Asia, America, Africa and Europe) and this is by far one of the best experiences I've had. The staff at the Ling Bao were excellent (especially the Bamboo Restaurant). Having lived in Europe for a few years, I was expecting a traditional European breakfast (meat. Cheese, bread, etc) but the breakfast spread was phenomenal! We were only supposed to stay at the Ling Bao for the weekend since it is connected to Phantasialand (with our own private entrance!) but we ended up buying annual passes since we knew we'd be back again. This hotel was a little bit pricier than some of the others on Booked.net...but it was definitely worth every cent!
The only downside to the hotel was that there was no mini-fridge in the room.

Very nice Chinese decor, amazing garden and a nice swimming pool, breakfast just fine. Very clean.
The room which we received was quite different from our expectations. For the price of nearly 200 E per night you would at least expect a mini bar in your room. Instead we got a dark room with children bun-beds. Pretty disappointed we asked for another room and we got a rather specious suite which we had to pay 200 E more for. In the end we spend nearly 600 E for two nights in a nice but not really astonishing hotel. On Sunday morning the queue for breakfast was outrageous. We did have a nice time there but the price you pay for what you get is really not worth it.

Comfortable rooms with a separate bedroom, easy-to-use facilities, and spacious double beds 😊.

The rooms were very nice and comfortable; the double bed for children is fabulous. the children toilets are a great idea; however the sinks also for the kids are still to big (they can't reach the water fosset)
@ Breakfast: pan cakes were way way too dry and hard; one couldn't eat them; fish was missing @ children Breakfast: too one sided; no balanced breakfast option for the children whatsovever; only sweets --> irresponsible! @dinner (same place as breakfast) --> buffet nice even though not very many options (e.g. only one soup); meats way too dry; we've been to Asia before and the meat has never been so dry! Buffet price way overpriced; especially since there wasn't even one non alcoh. beverage included @toilets in the swimming pool and other "public"areas --> definitely need to be checked and cleaned more often; the women toilet in the swimming pool area couldn't be used for several hours --> very disgusting; it was also not nice to have staff that did go around to check the toilets to huff and puff and be upset about the "cleanlyness/dirtiness" of the toilets, especially when guests are in the toilets. It is also not polite if a male staff just walks into the ladies room without knocking on the door before and totally upset that he had to do this task. In a hotel with so many children it is normal (unfortunatey) that kids don't leave the toilets as clean as they were before and thus need to be cleaned more often than normal. @ reception: The reception should definitely explain to first time guests what it means and exactly how it works with the Asian Nights and with the Theme Park!

As a solo traveler, I enjoyed the superb rooms and accommodating staff at Database Hotel. The location inside the park was convenient for easy access to all the attractions.
Felt very lucky to have found it, no reason to complain.

the garden in the middle of the hotel The breakfast was very good
The evening buffet was not very tasty and quite expensive. A glass of wine costs 11 euro which is quite ridicilous.

This hotel is only thinking on how to take as much money from the client. The reception staff was not friendly at all and at check in one of the ladies was not in the mood to check me in. The food was terrible. The diner buffet is a joke the food that they serve there you would not give to your dog its tasteless and straight from the can. The room was nice and the housekeeping did a great job the rest was terrible.

Nice location, next to the wonderful Phantasialand. Rooms are good. Very good, varied breakfast.
The receptionist seemed rather uninterested, unpleasant arrival. We ate a snack on the terras at the bar and had to wait literally 50 minutes for the food to arrive. Also other guests complained about the time it took to get their order. Unseen for a 4-star hotel. Allthough the room was clean, there came an urine smell from the toilet. I guess it was not cleaned thoroughly enough.

I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel for the second time. The location is perfect, right next to a great theme park. The room was nice and comfortable, with a wonderful bed. The buffet breakfast was truly terrific, with lots of choices and great quality. The hotel even gave us a thoughtful Christmas gift during our stay. The swimming pool was amazing, especially with the Christmas lights surrounding it. And the best part was being able to enter the theme park from the hotel premises. Free parking in the hotel garage was a nice bonus too.
